The snow is pretty heavy here at the moment (live on a hill) but guarantee there will be no snow down in the valley where I work, the boss doesn't seem to understand how altitude effects snowfall and will expect me in at work. Should be fun ride in! Not going to bother with the bus as it will be slower/the traffic will be terrible closer to town.

Being a local yokel like @kiriyama I'd say sack it unless you really have no option to get out when the weather's better (particularly tomorrow when I will be out cos it's going to be quite nice). Been snowy here and I dare say over the tops near Hathersage there will be plenty of snow. Roads are OK but it's going to be very chilly

Edit: the Snake Pass is closed due to snow this morning which probably tells you all you need to know about road conditions on the tops

Cancel it, according to accuweather, from the start of May we will see temperatures climbing and much better weather on the way.

Expect a colder start to Tuesday.
