As for the jackets, I bought one of the lightweight jackets for £9.99 from Aldi in May last year (my first cycling jacket) and apart from wishing there was perhaps a bit of mesh or some kind of venting, it's been fine as a light showerproof jacket. So it's not necessarily a false economy. I have since added an altura nightvision for when it's raining, but the Aldi one definitely has it's place in my cycling wardrobe!

Could have been a mistake. Those leggins are so lazy, big pile of washing just sitting there and no food cooked since Friday.
