I can only get out on the bike on a Sunday morning, and the last few rides have been building up , the last one was 46 miles in 3.06

Well Mrs FS has announced she is away early next month, so I have a whole weekend on my own.
Saturdays sorted, but I fancy a bit of a trip on Sunday. Now I don't know whether I am up to it, but I quite like the idea of a bimble up to Maldon (I am in Southend) A coffee stop and a cake then home. Reckon its going to be 35 each way, keeping off the main roads.
Is this feasible (with sufficient fluid, fuel and bum cream)
The problem is there are no bale out options on the route and the "come and get me dear" option isn't available either.
Mind you it will probably rain anyway....

If you've got all day just take it slowly. Why wouldn't it be feasible? Ride at 12mph rather than 15.

Absolutely go for it, it's not a 70 mile ride it's 35 miles and you can do that. Twice. ;)
