When the bearings on the front hub oh my campy khamsin went, I ordered then online for £6 because I figured I could replace them myself.
I got the axle out, the end caps off, and realised they were press fit cartridge bearings and that I didn't have a bearing extractor or a bearing press. Took the wheel and bearings to the lbs. They promptly told me that they didn't stock campy bearings, but they could order them in. It was entertaining handing them the two new bearings on the spot.
They only charged me £6 for labour. £12 was a whole lot cheaper than a new wheel.
