I took a look at the Condor Fratello after reading some very positive reviews of the model and spoke to The Fell bikes in Clitheroe who through the posted links in this thread I found can do a full custom build. I was not particularly looking at custom but having seen the condor frameset and a family member once owning a condor im wondering if the extra outlay is worth it. What is Cc'ers opinions of going a custom fratello over the equilibrium ? Is the extra money worth it ?
2017 will seeing me taking on longer distances and Audax's as well as my current riding

Are you looking for a bike to keep and last years? If so Fratello (not that an equilibrium is not built to last)

You should be able to do long distances on either. Just custom bike might feel more special

@outlash has a Fratello disc iirc

It would be nice to buy a bike for my remaining cycle days . Im sure the Equi would last many years & many miles as would the condor. The bike fit and resulting custom 'fit' might make the bike a more personal fit and less need to maybe change things to get the equi just right. Ultimately I dont want to waste money unneccessarily

I guess only you can decide. I'd probably go Ti over a Fratello

Depends what's important. If you just want a bicycle, the equilibrium. If you want something special and unique then...

I bought an Equilibrium disc 20 in September. Very impressed. See you are in Cumbria, so Arragons in Penrith are the dealers. They will source a 2016 for you if they don't have your size in stock and do you a very very good deal.

Thank you @Bicykell, I finally went for a Condor Fratello. I think the Equilibriums are a fantastic bike but whilst looking for a new geared cycle I had the opportunity and funds to purchase a Condor. I will never have the chance again so Condor it was.
