This is the route of today's ride. I got the mileage slightly wrong but only realised when I was pretty much home. I could have managed the extra 6 miles but the pull of a warm shower was too great. I averaged 16mph (riding time) for 94.35 miles in 5.53 (6.10 including one mechanical and two coke stops)

Edit - Sounds better if I say it was 151Km

Gotcha - the map only shows part of the route.
"mechanical" stop ? hope new bike isnt broken allready.

The map shows the whole route it's jut that it goes back on it self. That is why 9 miles appears after 90

Not broken but for some strange reason one of the chain links got stiff and was causing the rear mech to jump. Took a minute or so to find it and a couple to work it lose. Need to post asking if anyone else has experienced this come to think of it

Ive had stiff links - i presumed it was due to rust in the chain but eventually i found it was caused by minor damage and filing the damage off caused the link to move freely again.

I have had them on bikes that have had a hammering, or been unused for ages but never on one used 3 times a week. Oh well
Yes not to good on used 3 times bike - see what the forum experts have to say about it.
two coke stops !!
Not sure i entirely approve but it does explain your quick time !!

Looks like a nice ride.

What mapping software are you using? It looks like it has a grading feature for hills.

I was flagging a little at the end. I should have taken more than the one energy gel!!! I know I could have done the extra 6 miles and would have if I had realised I was short before being 1/4mile from home
