Alfine Hybrid Bike

After weeks of research and new ranges coming out, I have narrowed my search for a Hybrid bike. I decided I wanted alfine hub gears, 700c wheels, disc breaks and it had to look good.

Main problem is no one stocks them so I can't go and see and try them, but I will have to hope for the best.

My choices are:

Saracen Clever Mike
Scott Sub 10 MEN
Giant Seek 0 - can try this on the wiggle 30 day trial.
Kona Dr Fine (think I have ruled this out because the forks look too spindly)

Does anyone have any opinions on either the bikes or Manufacturers.

My utility bike is a giant escape M0 - well built and has been very good. I've seen the Seek in the lbs and it is VERY shiney.

No experience of how the bikes on your list ride but they are all reputable manufacturers. To give you something else to think about have you considered a Pompino? I've got an alfine hubbed one (canti brakes though - the disc frame wasn't available when I bought it). At least as comfy a ride as the Escapeand a damm sight quicker, despite the tryes being 25c vs. the 1.5 inch on the Escape.
