The £30 circular saw seemed to be the most popular item at my local Aldi

For £30 it's cheaper than hiring one for the weekend.

A lot of builders like them as beaters to leave in the back of the flat bed, it's better than some scrote running off with your £130 Dewalt or Makita.

in respect of the glasses - the rubber ends on the arms tent to come off (the glue must stop working when warm). I'd advise taking the rubber ends off and putting on with superglue.

As well as the advertised glasses (for £2.99) I spotted some with swappable lenses for a quid more. I think they were a clearence item (they weren't in with the other cycling gear) so they're probably not everywhere, but the Old Swan store in Liverpool had about a dozen sets on the shelf.

They are left over from last week, not bad glasses and come with Yellow, Clear & Dark lenses a neck cord and cleaning cloth all in a soft case.

Sat here waiting for a "Help, I've superglued my glasses to my head" thread.

disagree with you I'm afraid, not all strap mounted carriers are bad, i own the saris bones 3 and its awesome and fits loads of different cars, which you cannot say about many other racks.. expensive but you get what you pay for....
The glasses are not bad

The cycle carriers are crap - BUT only as crap as any other strap-on carrier. I f you don't want the expense of a towbar or roof bars then the Aldi is as good as any other
