Aesthetics vs functionality

Function all the way. Purists don't like me mixing SRAM levers with 105 calipers for example. But to me it's all about how it rides and whether or not I can complete the rides I want to do with it eg LEL

My current bottle cage isn't a delight to the eye.... BUT I was getting fed up of catching trouser legs on the other ones so for me function before beauty, but if I can have both I will.
