Aesthetics - New pedals Black or Silver

Pathetic I know but can’t decide which colour to go for ?

I love my full toe clip MKS and yes I’m old so “reflectors” and flat pedals are for me - I think I’m going to get a set of MKS GR 9 or GR 10 with full toe clips but can’t decide on full silver or silver black combo ?

I’ve included my current motley collection re pics, not sure why, I should probably get out more 🤣🤣🤣

Any pearls of wisdom much appreciated

I'd suggest silver to match the bike, but what do I know: on my son's Boardman Airpro, which is matt black, there's a silver pedal one side and a black pedal the other.

Don’t know about colour but those plastic pedals look like they’re getting on. I bought some for a kid here for his BMX, they lasted all of a week and ended up with just the metal spindles.
Full respect for sticking with toe clips, much better than those new fangled clip in’s things

Proper quills with proper metal toe-clips and straps. You probably can't get them in black.

Unpainted ones look unpainted until they die.

Practically, silver won't show the inevitable scratches if it's going to be ridden a lot. The black looks suitably mean and moody in harmony with the rest of the bike. Can you get them in orange to match the frame highlights?

Black or orange - it's possible to get orange SPD pedals as son no. 2 has them on his Carlton Fixie.
