Advice on Cycle Leg of Triathlon

Been roped into doing the cycling leg of the triathlon with some work colleagues next year. Currently own a Dawes Discovery hybrid and did the coast to coast on it recently. My question is, do i need to buy a more triathlete specific bike or can i get away with my Dawes.

Any other advice much appreciated.

Fit slick tyres and tri bars and you'll be fine.
