Different problem, this.
My Chorus rear mech now fouls on the two biggest sprockets when on the granny ring. Not so much in the sideways travel, but because the top jockey wheel runs the chain too close to the bottom of the sprocket. This is not a compatibility problem: it's the same size of cassette since new, but the rear mech has done about 30,000 miles.
Campag rear mechs adjust the angle (not the travel) of the rear cage with a worm thread at the top of the cage and even at full turn of that thread, i.e. with it coming out of the housing, it doesn't make enough difference. [Shimano users note - your adjustment is not the same].
Does this mean this mech is now too worn? Anything else I can adjust/replace?
Could it be instead that the chain is a few links too long? It looks fine to me, but this cassette was replaced by the LBS so I let them fit a new chain at the same time.
