I was looking at your map and noticed that when I did my ride to South Benfleet I passed VERY close to your route (I went through Rettendon) so it almost joins up. I did Manningtree to Bungay (Norfolk) a couple of weeks ago so I'm slowly spreading my way across the counties with joined up routes.

I presume you're getting the train to Manningtree? You can get a direct train from Shenfield, I believe.

On that note, I will provide parking Chez Auntie Helen for those driving. It's a 15 min ride from my house to the start of the journey but we pass very close on the way back so drivers don't have to do the final 4 mile section if they don't want.
