Hi All, I managed to break my mini pump yesterday and need another quickly and would rather ask for your experience than spend ages looking through 'biased' sales blurb from each manufacturer.. I don't want a Co2 Gas jobby, just a tradition type that will achieve a decent pressure and can be used on both valve types. The Topeak Pocket Rocket has been mention. Any good?

I think the pocket rocket is probably one of the most popular small pumps on here. That's got to count for something.

I have two of them, one for each bike.

Thanks for the recommendation.. I would always rather hear from a user than a manufacturer..

As others have said I would say nothing, just ensure that you plan your route circular around your home so that if anything happens you can push the bike back, then work out what you need, unless there is somebody at home to fetch you then you need a mobile phone & the most important bit that never works when you need it a signal.
