All done on one ride and all done in order. There is a Zeal road about five miles out of town but Google street view did not show a sign.

31km with 228m of climbing done in a pinch under two hours including photographs.

Have experienced problems posting photos recently, eg P & Q are missing from my July posting, so here is a new set of photos for PQRS.

Thought I'd be very creative and get ye olde Roman road, Stane Street for S. Sadly no signage at all except for the usual public bridleway stuff. It supposed to be a well-preserved section but woodland had obscured any trace of agger and ditches; I will have to explore more of it.
Got a more conventional S instead.

And the anonymous Stane Street. I see no chariots.

Decided to join this challenge, to relieve the tedium of Level-2 Covid Restrictions.

I am sure I can get an early "haul" within a few miles of home, so, just to make it more energetic, started on the Folding Bicycle, I may need to switch to my hybrid for more distant names. In only 3.5 miles today, managed to bag A...D :

E thru I bagged today, in only 4.4 Miles. ;) Missed a trick, should have bagged "J" (John Reid Road) as well, but, there is always tomorrow, weather permitting. ;)

Sadly Paradise Street, the ultimate in ironic back to back terraces, in Stourton Leeds, was demolished...
There's a Paradise Passage in Islington. The building numbers don't go up to 69 though.

Excuse the faded street sign, it does say "John Reid Road" honestly. Obviously South Tyneside Council have run out of black and white paint!

5.5 miles, to collect "J" thru "N". My "J" is a bit indistinct, and, "N" was photo-bombed by a resident ;)

Only time for "U" this morning, have to do chauffeur duty for SWMBO, hair-dressing appointment, NOTHING is more important! ;)
In almost every one of your photos I imagine home owners peering out through the blinds wondering why there's a random person (in hi-vis) taking photos of their house.

The ABC Towns & Villages challenge must generate similar wonderment from the residents of Zouch, Zenner and Zeals as cyclists form long orderly queues to take photos of the signage.

very true!

I have had to explain to a couple of people that I am not a weirdo or Covid Stasi Spy. Mind you, when I explained the ABC street names challenge, I am not sure I actually convinced them about the weirdo bit. ;)

Cannot find an X within riding distance.

A bit of fudge for the X, silent E in Exeter Way, is that allowed?

York Avenue.

Opened by the, then, Duke of York, in the 1930's, if anyone is interested ;)

I have "Z" identified, but, too far to ride today.
