Forgot it was there and got up to make a cup of tea and...

...trod on the poor little blighter.

Won't work at all as screen is cracked.

Just ordered an Edge 20 from Wiggle to replace it.

I spent hours making a spitfire model with balsa, tissue paper, dope..........put it on the chair while sorting out flying it then sat on it............... I feel your pain .

When we lived in Plymouth I was painting a bedroom. I was cutting in, so I filled up the roller tray so I could then roller after cutting in. The tray was on the floor.

A little bit of paint round the window, stepped back to put some paint on my brush...... Right in the bloody stuff. My immediate reaction was to jump out of it, then take 2 steps! Took a while to clean the carpet and my shoe.
These days I don't like to mention it, I prefer to gloss over it.

This sort of thing happens to every balsa wood airplane. If it hadn't have been you, it would have been someone else.

I may also state that I believe I hold the world record for balsa wood stick airplane flight. When I was a young'un, I launched one of those planes. It immediately got caught in an updraft, or an unseen vortex, and was carried to the schoolyard a block away, where it executed a perfect landing. Did not land on the top of the school, nor get caught in the huge trees near the schoolyard, but landed on the mostly asphalt section of the block, the play yard for the school.
