Aero posts in great condition are worth a few bob. Also a head turner on the club run, as folk think these never existed on 'old bikes'.

Lets say my steel bike attracts more attention on club runs than the plastic stuff.

Well today was the Pugs maiden voyage and I must say......... I absolutely love this bike, its very responsive, very comfortable and just gives a reassuringly positive feeling that makes me feel safe on it if that makes sense. Just one thing I found with it which I feel the newly fitted chain needs to lose a couple of links, other than that an immensely enjoyable ride.^_^

must admit i am doing some running in miles on a late 80's Pug Optima which is full 531 and feel the same as @Chris-H does about his , its strange how certain bikes give this feeling more than others

I'll be honest here when I say I feel more in touch with the Pug than I did on my £1000 Bianchi, I never thought i'd feel the way I do after such a short time of owning a steelie.

Here we go, the pics were taken in the shed at night and don't do the bike justice really, I do have plans to convert to quill stem and silver 44cm bars to get more of an original look but theres no great rush, I just cant wait to ride it now.
