A tyre question

At there moment I have 700 x 38 Schwalbe Silento 2 on my Dawes karaakum.
I want to keep the 700x38 as I find them a comfy ride but I want a tyre that has good puncture protection.
I know there is no such thing as puncture prof.
Any suggestions would be helpful

With regards Iain

The obvious choice is the Marathon Plus, but at around 30 quid each they're not cheap. A guy i commute with sometimes has had them on for about 8 months now and not a single puncture.

I ran Conti Contact 38s for a couple of years and can only remember 1 puncture, and that's with daily riding through the glass-strewn streets of Stourbridge.

My Conti Contacts are too old but the new ones you get a p'ture guarantee. That aside they are great wearing p'ture resistant tyres; my 37mm conti contacts had 1 p'ture when the were about 200-300miles old (a whole half glass bottle (oxymoron) in the middle of the path which I really should have saw  ) they then got their 2nd p'ture just before Christmas @ 8000 miles (some student left a drawing pin as a present for me). I've not done much miles on them lately but they are still going at 8300 miles.
