A "thing" to thread v-vbrake bolt in :)

As in my marvelous description
I found a thrown away bike and would like to bring it to life, howere the rear triangle looks like this:

Can I buy a bolt for the Vbrake? Are there various sizes?

I think it's called a brake pivot and they come in two thread diameters.
I'm not 100% certain. I'd look at SJS cycles and see what they have.

Cannondale used a totally unique thread. It defeated my local fastener supplier, who reckoned it was a flattened UNC. Luckily Noah's Ark had a pair of NOS ones!
