A stylish town bike

Hello.
Can anyone recommend a stylish and simple town bike? These Pelago bikes are the kind of thing I am after but none are quite what I want. Also the company is Finnish and living in Finland myself I know how much more a product produced here costs. I would like the price to really reflect the quality of the product as I want a bike that will last and be worth repairing.

These are my needs:
Single speed but not fixed.
Breaks front and back - no back-pedal break.
A rack.
Mud guards front and back.

And a few things I'd rather not have:
Chain guard - Finnish streets are gritty and muddy for a good portion of the year
No frills - stickers, general flashy-ness etc.

It would be great to buy a quality British bike really. Pashley bikes certainly seem to be right for quality but the look is a little too old fashioned for my taste. And they look awfully heavy.

Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions I'd be very grateful.

Thanks. Their Belleville is perhaps a bit more what I was looking for though it has gears and dynamo.

those pelagos are lovely, and a chaincase is great in dirty wet weather, not sure why you'd not want one. Heres some more that I know of:

I guess my concern with the chainguard is the they can be difficult to clean - but I suppose this depends on the model.
