these saddles are typically sold for £20 not £60 so Halfords are telling porkies! I tried one a couple of years back and it was the most uncomfortable saddle I've ever used - had trouble selling it on too, I think I got about £5 for it in the end!

i have to agree they're not £60 for sure, ive not found them for 20 tho. 62euros bike24 57$ amazon 59.99£ at ebikeshop and plenty more. so typically about £30 on offer 40-50 if not but what isnt on 'offer' these days... so 83% off a normal sale price is quite good. but if theyre tosh £5 of tosh is £5 of tosh even if it was meant to be much more expensive.

Halfords themselves were selling them at Xmas time for no more than 22 quid. I know because I bought one that I subsequently returned. I don't recall them ever selling them at the list price of a penny under sixty quid. The point is therefore that they are being totally dishonest in potentially gaining customers by giving the false impression that they offer bigger discounts than they in fact do. If they said "RRP 59.99, our price £5" then okay but they say "was 59.99" which makes them sound more generous.

They do this with their bikes as well.

A £50+ 2014 saddle, no doubt discounted by Selle Royal to clear the decks for their 2016 range.

Halfords had these for £15 and Edinburgh Co-Op for a similar price a few weeks back.
Triply a bargain now, if it works for you.

I think that it's worth checking Halfords as well as the usual 'go to' on-line warehouses - I recently got a Brooks B17 there for £52 which I thought was pretty good.
