How do you guys clean your bike properly without messing up your kitchen/bathroom wherever?
surely that's going to put some unsightly scratches in your bath too?
There's where your luck ran out if its too high pressure it'll easily knock the grease etc out of your ballbearings and throw up stones chipping away at your paint work. It might seem good in the short term but it'll cause long term damage, the rest of your setup sounds good thoughI'm very lucky to have underground parking, a secure lockup and a covered wash bay with high pressure hose! Even tho I live in a one bed.
WHAT!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!I'm really only use the high pressure to blast the sand out of my chain and mechs, then I relubeI always just rinse the rest

Be careful you are not blasting lube out of them and worse other cr@p into them.I'm really only use the high pressure to blast the sand out of my chain and mechs, then I relubeI always just rinse the rest

There's internal factory grease/ lube in your chain that you'll probably be washing out and can't be replaced and 2 months (500 miles) is pretty short term.I have a very thorough relubing process that's the same as I use on the motorbike. It's been fine like that for 2 months after about 500 miles so I guess it's working.
