Well this morning i have not put on my tee shirt just the polo shirt.It must be getting warmer.Also going to church in my fleece rather than my big coat.Nails i tell you hard as nails up here in the North.

Heading out shortly for an audax, and as it happens, i did dig out a tube of factor 50 last night.
Can't help feeling that's overkill against 'harsh summer sun" in early March, but i don't have anything weaker.

Spread it thin, lad! That costs money, tha’ knows!

Whatever it was by 9pm my leg was like a sausage and the hossy were worried about sepsis, so I sat jn the waiting room all night clutching an IV stand full of antibiotics and was sent home with a big box of AB tabs. Too, about a week before it started to look normal again.

When l was running, l’d wear shorts all year round, no matter what the weather/temperature
I can’t remember the last time l wore them to ride a bike though, but certainly pre-covid

He’ll be fine. We only get harsh summer sun in the UK once every 5 years if we’re lucky!

I think I read that this year it is booked for a Wednesday - about 3 in the afternoon

Last few years I have started declaring it summer and wearing shorts all day every day

Including when on my bike - in fact short on the bike are good because I don't have to worry about the old trouser/mud problem

I do wear socks as well as my bike shoes - but I use ones that are very short and only just show over the top of the shoes

It has to be very hot for me to resort to sandals on the bike

I have been out in the garden this afternoon in only a t-shirt
(and jeans - calm down ladies!)
