Ive just conquered Parbold Hill (lancashire), chuffed to bits :bravo: , feel like a proper cyclist now even though I did stop for a little rest on the steepest bit.

I tried it last summer and failed miserably, stopped at the church for anyone who knows it, and this time I got past the church stopped for a little rest and then battled to the top. Strugged to get my left foot back in the pedals to get going again but got there in the end.

I recently done the manchester chester sportive 60 miler in 4 hours, but this feels such a bigger achievement.

Turned round and came back, that descent is scary, i know how brad feels now, think i need some new brake blocks for the new bike already, sure i could see some smoke coming from them as I squeezed them to death to keep my speed down..

just thought i'd dhare

Nice one. I don't love to far from it and keep meaning to give it a go.

Certainly a decent incline -well done.

Great feeling isn't it when you conquer one on the hit list

Can you sort that font out please? I have 56 year old eyes and that's not as easy on the eye as say Kylie.

Ta.

I'll have a read then.
Don't forget our other Australian exports. You think Kylie's easy on the eyes, what about Miranda? :hyper:

Congrats on the hill, by the way @justkeeppedaling, it's always good to 'conquer' another one.
