Been looking at one of the guy's at work bike and he has some nice Fulcrum rims on a Colnago I think it is. Nice and noisey like my Hope3/Open Pro hoops. I was thinking, since I have the Hopes on the Jake I could go for something else on the Kinesis TK2.

Quite like the look of the Racing 3, seems similar in build to my old Aksium wheels but better rims. Anyone know if they make a nice "clack" when you free-wheel? I also wonder if they'll take a 14 stone gent ok, LOL!

Ideally I would like more spokes... 28 front, and min 32 rear again. The other tempation is to order rims and hubs and get the shop to build up a custom wheel.

Man.. this custom build is taking AGES!!! Too many options.

I've got the Campagnolo direct equivalent, the Zondas (AFAIK, identical in all but spoking arrangement- G3 for the Campags, 2:1 for Fulcrums) on the Viner. Great wheels, but the one thing that I don't like so much is that compared to my Fulcrum 5 Evos, the freewheel noise is a bit subdued. It's there, but turned down a notch or two.

Thats not an age thing is it? My Pro3 rear hub became quieter after 6 months of riding. Apparently its normal. I like a noisey hub though, better than a bell imo.
