Pushing my nephew about in his pushchair at that age, he seemed to actually like the ridged bits at the kerb of ped crossings and didn't seem to suffer from my rather inept attempts to get him up and down kerbs and steps...
I had a Teutonia - and yes, it did have car quality suspension and pneumatic tyres. Truly the rolls royce of prams.
Come on though - it's not like you are pushing the pram along at 15-20 mph and most prams have some sort of spring suspension in place.
I was only sharing my view - as a father of two girls - i wouldn't have put either of them in a trailer at 9 months. I'd stop short of calling it child abuse, but it's not that far off.
