Not sure that I did need suspension but I am glad that I have it. My ride is so very smooth and I like it.

Why did you need a suspension fork?

My wife wanted some more off road capability. We used her new bike to go around the King Alfred's Way last year. That is about 60% off road

It takes away some of the vibrations from a rigid fork
