50 mile club I AM IN!!!

So today I joined the 50 mile club by accident.
Intended to ride to my work then nip to Redcar before going home and just continued riding for a bit. I did have to stop a few times as someone I was with was having bike issues but overall it was pretty fun.
I was very stiff afterwards as I have never rode above 25 miles before and tbh I have rode very little recently due to problems my end.

I know its slow but still for a fat lad who hasn't rode much lately I am very very happy.

Very respectable time for your first 50 with not much training. Well done.

Top tip to avoid stiff legs.... Pick a really easy gear and spin those legs for the last mile or two. Helps reduce the lactic in your muscles and helps recovery.

Well done, good effort! I am currently a member of the 28.41 mile club, not quite so prestigous but probably more exclusive. Hope to join the 50 mile club soon - do we get a tie?
