at last somebody on this forum who has the same target range as me. was just about to stop using this forum as i was feeling depressed at all the speeds and distances mentioned. you have revived my faith , thank you

Thats a huge achievement and a good target to try and beat when the winds subside.

I wish I had taken a flask of hot coffee with me today... after 30 mile I started taking all the short cuts to get home sooner... I'm not going to look at my average.

my oldest child is very clever, i used to encourage her until i realised the price and cost of going to uni, im now discouraging her from anything academic. ive taught her some basics of cleaning and stuff, my son shows promise at football, that cheap so ill continue to encourage that.

can i suggest you consider the cost complications of his obvious talent before offering any encouragement

I'm 47, unfit, and a bit overweight, but I have just got a road bike, and gradually building up, might be a while before I can keep up though.

power to weight ratio is king!
