It would be easier and quicker to sell one or more of the children ... then you won't have to carry their bikes or even buy them in the first place:evil::biggrin:

Like this one - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BICYCLE-TRAIL...66:2|39:1|72:1688|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50

But it's bloody expensive - and its in East Anglia - states no postage and then says Scotland not included...

Not seen (not looked too hard) a commercial supplier of similar trailers.

yeah that's it :cursing:
think that's similar to the one they sell in JE James.

postage probably means he'll deliver it for a fee to be agreed, but he doesn't want to go on an 18 hour drive to the outer bloody hebrides!
put local pickup to cover his arse so somebody doesn't demand that he does...

When i sold my bmw I put can do delivery, price to be agreed. The woman that bought it said "can you deliver it?"
"where to?" I said.
"Ayr" came the reply :headshake::ohmy: we eventually agreed to meet half way in darlington, still a long trek though...

edit: magnatom, i'll deliver you the one in JE James as long as you can promise to make me a film star and an instant celebrity with guaranteed fame and fortune.

I'm in a similar position to Summerdays (or will be!) in that I will have a family of 5. However, at the moment the kids are small (one is still to be born) and I am looking to buy something that will do us in the future as well as just now. So as the kids grow and if the bikes get too heavy I could get a roof rack as well.

The more I think about this, the more I realise how expensive this is going to get in the future! I need a better paying job!:smile:
It's also worth remembering that things like cycle carriers, just like cars, mobile phones etc etc are improving all the time. The carrier you get now, to last you for the next 15 years (say), might well be superceded by something much more practical, efficient, lightweight and cheaper, in about 5 years' time ! Hopefully.

Children don't make the family budget any less, either .... and when they get to teenage .... and university ..... xx(

... but they're worth it
