2027 Tour de France in UK

Looks like the tour grand depart 2027 will be somewhere in England, I was on the finish line last time, hopefully again in a couple of years

Secondly, all the headlines say that it’s set to start in Britain in 2027. England is not Britain and Britain is not England. Whilst it’s most likely it will start in England that is not what is being said at this time.

The Yorkshire post seems to think the Tour De France Femmes 2027 will start in Leeds, rather than the men's edition.

One visit to Lowestoft by the gents for last years final stage of the Tour of Britain: saw potholes along the route filled immaculately just a few days before the cyclists arrival…..

It seems like British Cycling have made a similar demand about Fakenham a few weeks before the annual Easter Sunday crit races.

So the highways authority have told them to get bent (or words to that effect, more likely) and that's that cancelled this year. 🙁
