I don't have much in the way of specific goals; broadly I'd like to

A) keep weight below 85kg
B) get more weekend outside rides if kids finally sleep
C) get at least one century ride

^^^^^This could be me. Exactly !! But: Strava tells me I’ve done 1200+ miles of walking and 1100+ miles of Cycling in 2024. (Not finished either yet 😁).

I didn’t start cycling again properly until April (?). And only got our puppy in January - so didn’t / wasn’t allowed to start doing decent walks with her until perhaps May onwards.

So…….

Walking may increase slightly. Maybe aim for 1500 miles for the year.

Cycling - I’d like to think I’ll do ‘alot’ more. Summer weekends always consisting of some time spent in the saddle. So maybe double that to 2000 miles.

Good point I actually hadn't even looked at my mileage for this year... definitely need to go outside more...

Need to do better than i did this year, would love to get back to the miles i used to do, but we shaii see, to much other stuff going on. did do a lot of walking this year, so that was good.

On the 21st of December I'd have aimed to win the track league and several long-distance events.

Since then my key aim is to get outside on the bike, which I hope to do by Easter. Hand rehab starts shortly. Track league is gone but I've booked a tour at the end of June. Until then it's indoor miles only.

No chocolate in 2025. Mrs Legs and I managed it in 2006, but, with children now, it might be a bit tougher this time around.

I put on 4lb over Christmas so I want to get rid of that.

I’d like to get back up to 330W for 20 minutes.

But no 1 aim is a sub-17 minute parkrun in 2025. Running training starts tomorrow!

What happened?

Basically I chopped part of my right-hand index finger off and then crushed the chopped part. Accidentally. They've re-attached what they can and I'm in recovery & rehab. I have to keep it elevated and it'll be bandaged for some time whilst we try to save it.

Another perspective is that my weight-saving measures went a bit too far!

Ouch. Hope you GWS with no lasting issues.
