(The week of my return has finally arrived. The path that has taken me where I am today has been very difficult and testing. It's without any doubt the hardest battle of my life up to now. Mentally and physically, I can say that I've been underground and that I've truly doubted my future.)

Half the peloton should be dq’d for riding on bike and footpaths. A few did pay the price by ending up behind the spectator barriers.
Milan Fretin takes the win having followed Viviani’s wheel. Once again, the Italian lost pole position in the final run in, this time to the Cofidis sprinter.

And in the carpark!!

Awkward on the team bus ....

What position did you finish in Jonny....

Well I filtered into the long stay carpark!🤣

Remco I've missed you...!
Makes you appreciate what a tough sport it is... hopefully easing himself back before winning Amstel 😍

Is that the incident where a guy rode into the spectator barriers, and had to carry his bike to the finish with a sheared fork??

No
There were about 10 riders that ended up the wrong side of the barriers.
The problem was that so many riders were ignoring the rule and using the cycle/footpaths to get closer to the front of the bunch.
They were still doing it when the barriers arrived.
Tough cheese lads.
