2016 winter progress

So i got my roadbike back in August 2014, 18 months ago. I did very little winter miles last year being a newbie, just didn't have the will or the stamina to get out much. This year I'm up to 1100 miles since jan 1 on road and turbo trying to get a good solid winter behind me heading into the spring. Ok it's not epic milage by audax or "serious cyclists" standards but going from zilch last winter to 1100 for me is a big deal. How are you getting on?

I'm a good 25 miles in! Only 545miles behind my yearly target so far!

Yes that's a fair point, I guess it could be set "easy" so you could clock loads of miles at high speed? Mines an Elite volare, set at 4 out of 5.
I've probably done at least two thirds of those miles on a turbo!

My winter riding is about 30 miles and maybe 3 hours on rollers.
Hope my spring riding will be much better.

After seeing a coach Ive been doing a lot of roller and turbo work and shorter/ sharper weekend ride, so I've not even passed 1000miles yet this year.

Had a recalculation as pointed out by @youngoldbloke
440 road miles since 1 Jan
35 hours and 38 minutes on the turbo since 1 Jan (660 "miles")

I think im coming up on 900 miles for the year so far , mostly commuting .

Ive probably used my turbo more in the last 10 weeks than I had in the 10years previous.

I know , you still cover some good road miles though!
