cheers for the advice smokey, I will be careful with who I sell the bike to, and how payment is made. I hate these scammers, it makes selling/buying a more painful experience, but thankfully they're in the minority

If you sell for £950, even if cash or BT, you'll pay £95+ insertion fees to fleabay

+1. Fleabay/paypal are a joke at best and at worst are a complete scam. Never ever sell a bike this pricey through paypal. Always take cash on collection, gives you and the buyer a piece of mind instead of them recieving the item and then claiming their cash back through paypal.
