after briefly locking my bike up outside a pub, only to have my front wheel stolen, I turned my back on the standard QR skewer.Great never seen these before ☺
Yeh... misses ad her front wheel robbed from when she left her bike locked up at work (coventry hospital) bizarly... nobody saw anything and security said that the cameras in that area wasnt working on that day! Hospital now provide a secure lockup where can only get in with electronic pass.after briefly locking my bike up outside a pub, only to have my front wheel stolen, I turned my back on the standard QR skewer.
Yes it was.... misses failed to lock the bike up how i showed her..... typical lolWas the qr wheel unlocked? D lock through back wheel and rear triangle, cable lock through front wheel and centre triangle, alarmedif you want.

Its a allen key with a hole to fit the skewer that has a pin in the centre of the hexagonal recess, preventing a standard allen key from fitting/ loosening the skewer, you can also get Torx bolts similar. Is that a hollow Allen Key? Never seen one like that.
