2 p****ures in 25 miles

After this morning's ride out with a couple of mates I got on the single-speed for a buzz around the village with the kids.

Got a puncture, or should that be p***ture*

These were odd. No screw down ring to fix the valve against the rim so you endue pushing the valve into the tyre when you're trying to inflate the tube. Have ordered a 5 pack of contis from Wiggle.

And yes, there could definitely be worse days to change a flat!

Im with you here bro screw down ring makes life a whole lot easier cant believe some bikes dont have them either!!

Beautiful day so decided to ride the 26 miles from the in laws to Exmouth. 2 in26 miles? Not fair. And the only local replacement I could get hold of were dreadful Halfords inner tubes

Thats bad luck. However I once had 2 punctures at about the same time, 1 in each bluddy tyre!

Had two in two days this week.

After the second, looked carefully and found a piece of glass that wasn't normally felt on either the inside or the outside. Just about spotted it from the outside.

Hopefully no more this week.
