Well done I remember when I went from doing 10 or so miles regularly and then did about 20-ish miles in one go, it was the single hardest increase.
After that going to 30, 40, and beyond was much easier. Feels good eh!

Well done, you have achieved a good base. Believe it or not I reckon 50 miles on a nice and easy day ride with a few rest / feed stops would not be beyond you now.

thank you for the replies it did feel good to do, i even did a lap of round the block to make it go over the previous longest ride figure.
