1st Week on a road bike - Initial observations

I bet it is, my tyres have a max pressure of 115psi, don't think I will take them that high though.

The ones on mine will go to 145psi. My pump won't get them that high!

It's almost as good as a proper track pump. And it fits onto my frame nicely.

Yes, I have a track pump now too. When I first got the road bike last week, I worked so hard trying to pump the tyres up with a regular hand pump that I burned through the skin on one hand, and burst loads of capilliares in one of my biceps. Yes, I am an idiot, but a determined one.

i also ride on the hoods or the straights , but never on the drops

For what it's worth - I run my road bike tyres at about 90 psi. I find things much smoother than when I ran them at about 100. I'm 11st 7lb, so maybe I noticed the bumps more....
