Well finally did it today.
In the saddle for 6.12 hours & covered 104.5miles with an average of 16.8.
Legs feel like they don't belong to me at the moment.
Overall time including a couple of necessary stops & chatting to a 70 years old cyclist who still covers over 100 miles a week it was 6.32 hours.

Whats the + run about?

* Doh, I get it you mean 100+ miles. Though you went for a run after too! LOL *

Here for rides.
nice one meerkat. should chalk up my first imp. century in a long while sometime after breakfast time on Saturday morning hopefully en route to 200km. Unlike you I'm not going to take any notice of time or speed

Garz : I think it means the meerkat did a 'run' over one hundred miles. If the meerkat did 100 miles and then went for an actually run then it should be humanely destroyed.

Terrain was a mixture of rolling roads & hills run included the Dukes Pass from the Aberfoyle side.
Basically went from Stenhousemuir. to Aberfoyle to Callender to Doune via Deanston on to Dunblane the Bridge of Allan through Stirling backroad to Torwood taking the Dunipace back road then onto Bonnybridge upto Allandale along the back road to Hallglen then upto Muiravonside country park down to Linlithgow along to Polmont through Lauriston then Bainsford & back to Stenny.

Anyone whos familiar with this route will know the amount of hills involved..

Feels great doesn't it. Your route sounds more impressive than my first 100 miler which was about as flat as you can get!
