Lovely and very sympathetic restoration job. It looks fabulous. What is the serial number? We should be able to age it from the number.
Hera is a copy of the Conquest page from the 1962 Viking Cycles Catalogue

I did a bit of work on my Conquest this afternoon. I had noticed that there was a bit of play in the BB the other day. For the time being I had just tightened up the cup a bit. This afternoon after a 14 mile ride with my friends I decided to take a look at the bearings. I was surprised to see hardly any grease on the bearings. I was glad to see that there wasn't any wear on the surfaces after I had cleaned them up. Things were built to last when this bike was made. I packed the bearings with fresh grease and reassembled the BB.
