If I remember, you were cycling round the Netherlands in quite late pregnancy. I think he's suffering from pre-natal cycling syndrome.:okay:

My son did a 100km Audax at the age of 10. He did start to struggle a bit around the 45 mile mark, but I lied that there were only 5 miles to go and he made it to the end OK. We used to do regular 50 milers with the CTC Junior section, but they would take all day, usually with 2-3 cafe or sweet shop stops along the way. Happy days.

At around that age we'd regularly cycle down to Sumburgh airport to watch the planes, a round trip of about 70 miles. I did it several times on a Chopper, and then on a Raleigh Wayfarer with a 24" rear wheel from my chopper.

I don't think I ever rode more than 20 or maybe 30 so miles until I was about 15/16. It was about that age that we started going off youth hostelling when 50 miles/day was about par. I think I was about 16 when I accidentally rode a century but it wasn't a regular thing.
