The ncn6 around your way is very very good and is mostly away from busy rds. The council have very good free maps as well.

The bit between Radcliffe and Philips park is really muddy when wet, but from Philips park into Manchester is very good.

If they hardcore the muddy bit....it'd be a perfect commute for me.

I've only been riding main roads through tottington Bradshaw radcliffe walsmsley on a round circuit and Kirklees trail but will be looking for new routes too
