No discs allowed for racing currently, but it's not clear what the OP wants from a bike anyway, although he did mention words like 'race' and 'competitive'..
They dont allow discs for safety reasons. Im making this up now but there was an incident in a major British cycle race (forget which one) where after a crash, one of the cyclists removed the front disc off his rear wheel and used it to attack another competitor, causing him to lose 2 fingers and severe injury to the hand.
