thinking of buying the Trek FX3 disc hybrid (https://www.trekbikes.com/gb/en_GB/bikes/hybrid-bikes/fitness-bikes/fx/fx-3-disc/p/1327610-2018/) for mainly road work but I also want to be able to use off road on tracks, canal paths etc... but believe tyres supplied with bike the Bontrager H2...

Normally at this time of year, i swap my slickish tyres for nobbly tyres... but i threw the old nobblies out after last winter. Should i take my chances riding fat slick tyres in the snow, or go and buy some nobblies?

I have been bought some of these for Christmas, having been recomended them. I have a B Twin 520. I have never seen foldable tyres before. Is there anything I need to know about fitting them ? Should we get them out of the box to get the folds out or is that a stupid question? Thank you in advance.

Hi, my wife has an MTB with 27.5 wheels but she wants to swap the knobblys for something more suitable with less resistance for touring on the roads...does anyone have any recommendations?

The tyres that were supplied with my Brompton are sucking the life out of me. They are Marathon Plus. 16x13/8 So any recommendations as to a better rolling, quicker tyre. Obviously I will be trading off the puncture protection of the Plus', but dammit, they really are hard work.

Only used a few times so in excellent condition.

Only thing is my forks dont have a bolt hole where a calliper would normally be attached. Also my forks are not round, would P clips work for funny shaped forks? Front one is all I need.

As the title really. What's the widest tyre anyone's fitted into a Holdsworth Elan frame? Looking at the clearance (currently got 25mm Hutchinson nitro 2) I could probably get a 32mm in there but it would leave any clearance for guards.

I have a pair of Continental Ultra Sport tyres for one of my bikes, and I quite like them so I got a spare when I saw some going cheap - they're 27 x 1 1/4, so I thought best grab them while I can. The thing is, I've only just noticed the new one is different - exactly the same name and size...

My new bike will have 25 mm tyres, what differences can I expect from the 23mm tyres on my current bike? I assuming they will be more comfortable and perhaps more puncture resistant but maybe there will be a decrease in speed?

I've had my tyres on the wrong way, the rear for over two years, I bought this year's tyre model yesterday and it now has a new arrow pointing in the direction of travel on the side wall. Changed the tyres, so both are now the correct orientation, but, no discernible difference on my ride. :cry:
