Hi, I'm looking to buy a second hand gravel bike but the bike in question needs shifters. It is a shimano 105 r7000 groupset and looking to buy second hand shifters as im on a tight budget. I can't see any used r7000 shifters but plenty of r5800.

In your opinion, is it worth persevering with one of these? It's time for a new BB.

Hi I have a shimano 9 speed road cassette. In the past I've used 105 ergo shifters with this. My question is: will 9 speed indexed down tube shifters work correctly with this? I am assuming that shimano 9 speed (road) is the same in term's of index spacing regardless. Thanks in advance Tim
