Anyone heard of these bikes before or any lucky person got one?
Based in California but have a stockist in London,

When Mr m semi retires early and I still work in town, been thinking about an e bike

I'm having a new bike delivered soon, I know it'll vary between shops, but what state of repair will a mail order bike normally arrive in? I'm guessing wheels and handlebars will need to be assembled, that'll be fine as I can handle that, but is there likely to be anything else more advanced...
So have recently bought a new Cube CX and a Dolan L'Etape Carbon road bike.
Both have no spacer above the stem, it's almost flush from the top of the stem to the top cap.
@themosquitoking is of the opinion something is very wrong, but it's strange to me that both new bikes would be like this...
They're calling them Uber Bikes because of the app and GPS element I suppose but anyway, this Grauniad piece describes a new system of dockless hire bikes.
'Uber for bikes': Chinese firm eyes global dominion with launch in Manchester...
Just narrowing down my search and wanted to understand the specs of the machines I was looking at - and found a great article from Bike radar which gave the hierachy of the Shimano/Sram groupsets. When I try to then apply that to comparing the bikes I have shortlisted, it seems that some shops...
Just returned from my annual couple of days hiking. This year was Exmoor, and apart from the excitement of finding one of the 18 remaining AA call boxes at Porlock, we also paid a visit to the Bakelite Museum, which really should feature in the Dull Mens Club www.dullmensclub.com
Anyways, a few...
I looking to possibly buy a Kuota, possibly a K-UNO. However, reviews are thin on the ground. Any general thoughts on the brand? Or the K-UNO in particular
Cutting a long story short, but my new Kinesis GF Ti disc frame I collected last weekend has to be returned because "someone" forgot to fully weld one of the bottle bosses!
The current GF Ti disc frame is made to take q/r wheels front and rear and when I was thinking about buying this frame I...
Hi,
My son is 11 in a few weeks and he would like/needs a new bike, as his old. He doesn't ride that much and will probably do a mix of road/path and park riding, so a hybrid is probably best best. I did try him on some drop bars, but he wasn't keen, and will end up on park tracks a bit...
Have recently become the delighted owner of this, Estrella Clasica.
Received brilliant service from Estrella co-owner and 6 times Paralympic Gold medalist Darren Kenny. They are based near Bournemouth, 500 miles away, so I couldn't visit in person. We sorted out the spec and the set up...
Would anyone know if the Canyon bike shop is still going in London at Kingston upon Thames or 72 Barwell Buisness Park. Leatherhead Road, Chesington KT92NY..
I would like to visit the shop and sit on one or two to get the right size.
Cheers
I bought Jannie a Genesis CDF 20 recently. Great service from Evans, who sent it across to Denmark. Jannie cycles her 10 mile commute every working day, regardless of weather.
The bike was an early, surprise birthday present as I thought the Trek 1200, which she really likes, was getting too...
My Daughter tried out my wife's lightweight Claud Butler Hybrid Urban 300 and loved it, so I need to get her something similar. Previously she had a heavy suspension mountain bike and struggled a bit with it on hills which put her off cycling.
The CB has a decent alloy frame and crucially no...
I bought a new bike after getting some excellent advice from the forum. I planned to use the old bike for commuting and keep the new bike for the weekend but the truth is, as soon as I sat my backside on the new bike I quickly made up my mind that I wouldn't use anything else. I give it a good...
I saw a couple of police officers on bikes on the other day. They looked like cheap and nasty mountain bikes and looked too small for them. I could have given them the slip easily on my bike, if I had been so inclined. I wonder why police forces don't invest more money in decent bikes for their...
Anyone tried a bike from Squish? (http://squish.bike/)
Seems to be a similar spec. to Frog bikes, lightweight, trigger shifter...
Our LBS stocks them so I'm keen to support them but I've not seen any reviews anywhere.
Thanks!
One is a ladies Raleigh and the gents one I can't make out but it looks like the remainder of gold leaf logo of a head badge.
Tyres and wheels are totally shot but other than that I think they could be a goer, not for me though, I need someone to take them off my hands for a small charity...
Question for those who have had cheap/ budget bikes and expensive ones, do you enjoy the expensive ones more? I know one persons expensive is another persons cheap but just generally.
I've had bikes for around £200 and ones for over a grand and I would say that I've enjoyed the more expensive...
This is an unusual sight to see, four large frame gents roadsters, all with double top tubes!. If my memory recalls, their are in periodical order. (L-R) 1900 Henry Smith, 1925 Comrade, 1930 Unknown, & 1933 BSA Tri-chrome special.
I don't know if this has been posted in the past. But touring season is on the way and this makes an interesting read.

I did not Alpkit sold bikes. I think it must be something new.
I have ben looking for an Adventure bike for myself and Jannie. My requirements were big tyres, disc brakes, Shimano 105 or above, the ability to take panniers.
I am from a small village in Denmark called SONDER Vilstrup and I am...
Does anyone know where you could hire six road touring bikes in Pisa this May. Myself and five friends are flying from Dublin to Pisa. The initial plan was to take the bikes in cardboard boxes on the plane but Ryan Air are looking €120 each way to take a bike! I have found somewhere that will...
@Fab Foodie @User @topcat1
These bikes are hanging high on the wall of a local bike shop which explains why the pics are a little off kilter. Knowing you guys are fans of the classics I thought I'd stick them up for you and all to see.
Bit messy with the clutter behind but a classic...
A thread elsewhere got me thinking about bikes for different sexes. I am aware that there is a traditional design of bike for women. Some questions arise;
- is the traditional design a world wide thing?
- are bikes for female pro-cyclists built the same as they would be for a male of the same...
Located in County Durham but can travel abit to meet, open to fair offers on them, the two adult bikes are easily restored the kids one needs a little more work. I forunstley I don't have much info on them as I'm much More into modern stuff. I just don't have the time I thought I had to fix them up.
About time. Interesting to see what happens.
Appologies if already posted.

I don't usually watch this garbage (but I lover Italy) and I was shocked to see Gino cruising on an old racer in Tuscany with droves of other cyclists skimming past.
If you want to catch some nice bikes, check Episode 6, about 15 mins in.
