That isn't actually quite what it says.

It says it is slightly more healthy, but not enough so to matter.

Brown rice has a lower GI, so is absorbed more slowly. I personally don't like the taste.

And white rice varieties have different GI index Iirc, long grain, pudding etc worse than basmati.
Brown rice I like but takes forever to cook, so I buy the microwave sachet stuff, ditto wild rice
