Just saying hello to all.
I am getting on in years and never thought I would ever get back on two wheels but thanks to these new fangled E-bikes I have and have also started riding an ancient car boot sale bike when it rains, just to the shops about a half mile away. I have been caught out in the rain when on my e-bike so I know it's waterproof now but riding the old fashioned pedal bike now and then just a short distance means I can track my fitness level.
I can't wheely the non-peddle assist bike up the hill on the way home like the kids do but just getting up the hill and being able to recover as I peddle along the level bit is a massive achievement.
I think cycling is the future, we need better infrastructure though, to make it safer and even more enjoyable. xx
