Hi from Portland, Dorset

Hi folks,

just taken up cycling, partly inspired by the many races and triathlons which take place in this neck of the woods. Am the proud owner of a Wilier Mortirolo Mirage.
Just finished cleaning up the blood and bandaging my left knee (lesson no 1, don't get distracted by watching the helicopters testing their winches!), so I guess I'm now initiated into the world of clipless pedals ;-)

I'd love to do the "Race to the Bill" Triathlon, but that hill is a little scary, and then there's the small matter of swimming round the harbour

i love riding up portland hill, do it at least once a week to visit my gf

i am thinking about starting triathlon next year, concentrating on road racing this year
